Union Capital Limited holds its 26th AGM
The 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Union Capital Limited (UCL) was held on Monday, 30 September 2024 at Gulshan Shooting Club, Gulshan-1, Dhaka-1212. The AGM of the Company was conducted on Hybrid System in combination of physical presence of the Shareholders at Gulshan Shooting Club, Gulshan – 01, Dhaka – 1212 and also through Virtual Platform.
The Chairman & Independent Director of UCL, Mr. Munshi Shafiul Haque presided over the meeting. Among the Directors Mr. Waqar A. Choudhury, Mr. Nadeem A. Chaudhury, Independent Director nominated by Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission (BSEC) Associate Professor Dr. Qazi Moinuddin Mahmud and the Managing Director & CEO (current charge) Mr. A.N.M. Golam Shabbir were participated in the said AGM. Ms. Tajrina Sikder, Director of the Company was also participated through virtual platform. Mr. Md. Abdul Hannan, Company Secretary (current charge), Auditor’s representative Mr. Asifur Rahman FCA, FCS, Scrutinizing Institute Suraiya Parveen & Associates representative Mr. A.K.M. Mushfiqur Rahman, FCS, a good number of shareholders and officials of Union Capital Limited were also participated in the said AGM.
